Relay nodes are fully functional ChatterBox mesh nodes, with the added benefit of being able to control a circuit with a built-in relay switch. Any node may be converted to a relay node by adding the relay component as described here.

| Relay Command | Description |
|---|---|
| Switch 5 Sec | Set the relay switch to “on” for 5 seconds, and then switch back off. |
| Switch On | Set the relay switch to “on” until device reboot (or until switched back off). |
| Switch Off | Set the relay switch to “off” until device reboot (or until switched back on). |
